SunInfra Energies Limited (“SunInfra”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain and protect personal data when you visit suninfra.co.in, submit a project enquiry, contact us, apply for a role, or otherwise interact with us through the website.

This policy applies to the website and website-originated interactions. A separate privacy notice or contractual provision may apply to employees, contractors, project personnel, customers, vendors, landowners or other stakeholders where a different relationship requires it.

3. Personal data we collect

Information you provide

• Project and business enquiries: your name, company, work email address, phone number, project location, monthly electricity-spend range, solution interest and any project context you choose to provide.
• Direct communications: information contained in emails, telephone calls, WhatsApp messages or other communications you initiate with us.
• Recruitment: contact details, resume or curriculum vitae, employment and education information, and other information you submit for a role.
• Events, downloads or subscriptions: contact and preference information if you choose to register for an event, request material or subscribe to communications.

Please do not send confidential technical, financial or unnecessary personal information through the initial project-enquiry form. If a project requires detailed bills, load data, drawings or other documents, our team will provide an appropriate follow-up channel.

Information collected automatically

When you use the website, our hosting, security and content-delivery systems may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages requested, timestamps, error and security events, and similar server-log information. The project-enquiry form may briefly process a keyed hash derived from an IP address to limit repeated automated submissions; the current website implementation keeps that rate-limit value for approximately five minutes.

4. How we use personal data

• To receive, assess and respond to enquiries and requested communications.
• To evaluate potential solar, open-access, battery-storage, IPP/OPEX, EPC, O&M or related renewable-energy requirements.
• To take steps toward a proposal, project, contract, vendor engagement, partnership or employment relationship requested by you.
• To operate, secure, troubleshoot, maintain and improve the website and its forms.
• To measure website effectiveness and understand aggregate visitor behaviour where permitted and appropriately configured.
• To send updates or marketing communications only where permitted by law and supported by an appropriate choice or consent. You may opt out at any time.
• To comply with legal, regulatory, audit, tax, accounting, insurance, dispute-resolution and law-enforcement requirements.

We do not use consent given for an enquiry as consent for unrelated promotional messages.

Service providers are expected to process personal data only for agreed purposes and to apply appropriate security and confidentiality measures.

7. Third-party services and links

The website may link to services such as LinkedIn, WhatsApp, maps, video platforms or other external websites. A link does not mean that SunInfra controls the third party’s privacy practices. When you follow an external link or use a third-party service, that provider may collect data under its own terms and privacy policy. Please review those policies before providing information.

8. International processing

Some technology and communication providers may process or store data outside your state or country. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we take reasonable steps to use providers and safeguards appropriate to applicable law, including contractual, organisational and technical measures, and any transfer restrictions notified by competent authorities.

9. How long we retain data

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain an appropriate record of consent or requests, and to meet legal, contractual, security, accounting, insurance, dispute-resolution and audit requirements.

• Initial website enquiries are not intentionally stored in the WordPress database. They are delivered to authorised business email systems and may later be recorded in an approved customer-relationship system.
• Enquiries that do not become an active opportunity should be deleted or anonymised under SunInfra’s approved retention schedule, unless a longer period is reasonably required.
• Recruitment information should be retained only for the relevant recruitment process and any separately agreed talent-pool period.
• Security logs, delivery logs and backups are retained according to operational need and applicable legal requirements, then deleted or overwritten under controlled schedules.

When retention is no longer required, we delete, anonymise or securely isolate the information. Deletion from backups may occur through the normal backup-expiry cycle.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. These measures may include access controls, encryption in transit, secure hosting, software updates, backups, logging, monitoring, anti-spam controls, staff confidentiality and vendor controls. No website or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your rights and choices

Depending on the law that applies to you and the nature of our relationship, you may have the right to:

• ask whether and how we process your personal data and request an appropriate summary or copy;
• correct, complete or update inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
• request deletion of personal data that is no longer required, subject to lawful retention;

12. Children’s privacy

The website is intended for business and professional users and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly seek personal data from children through the website. If you believe a child has submitted personal data, please contact us so that we can review and take appropriate action.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website, services, vendors or legal obligations change. The current version will be posted at https://suninfra.co.in/privacy-policy/ with a revised “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects how we use personal data, we will provide additional notice or obtain a new choice where required.
